Founded in 2001 as a joint venture with FAST Italy, Elmoj For Energy Services has established itself as Libya’s leading mechanical services company for the oil and gas industry — and the first and only Libyan company to hold full API accreditation.
Over more than two decades of continuous operation, we have built a reputation for precision, reliability, and compliance with the most demanding international standards. Our facility, located just 20 km from Tripoli near Libya’s largest port and international airports, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and operated under a fully certified quality management system.
Our services cover the complete range of mechanical needs for drilling and production operations: CNC Machining and Thread Services, Manufacturing and Fabrication, Thread Inspection and Premium Connection Services, Pressure Testing, Surface Treatment, Inspection Services, Drill Pipe Straightening, and Yard and Warehouse Management.
Our capabilities include three fully computerized CNC Oil Country Lathe Machines with spindle bores of 6″, 9-5/8″, and 14″; two CNC Make & Break Bucking Units with non-marking jaws covering sizes from 2-3/8″ up to 13-3/8″ and 2-3/8″ up to 22″; Tenaris-certified phosphating (Zinc and Manganese) surface treatment and shot peening units; a mobile hydraulic drill pipe straightening unit with 80-ton ram capacity; and a portable hydraulic swaging unit for tubing and casing from 2-3/8″ up to 9-5/8″.
Elmoj is the only company in Libya to simultaneously hold API accreditation, a TenarisHydril License, and a Vallourec VAM Qualification Certificate — making us the only locally based provider capable of delivering certified premium connection thread inspection and repair services to the standards demanded by the world’s leading operators and drilling contractors.
